Why Supporting local is important to us
Here at Paleo Meals Direct we think it's important to support local.
This means buying Vegetables from local suppliers, buying meat from West Australian producers and supporting local companies who produce some of our amazing additional items.
It's not always the cheapest option, but to us, it's the best option.
Broth's from Kitchen on the Cape down in Augusta, Ryan's quality meats source the best West Australian meats for us, grass fed and finished Beef and lamb, Free range Chicken and Pork.
Deserts and snacks from One Tiny Bite who are based here in Perth. Fatbombs from Karibu Cafe in Subiaco, and Fermentables from Foley's Frothing Fermentations in Dunsborough, Granola from NoToast which is one man show here in Perth.
Supporting local means that the money stays in WA, it means making ends meet for West Australian families and sending West Aussie kids to school. Its providing jobs in an economy thats still finding its feet post mining boom.
Its taking advantage of the fact that as West Australians we are surrounded by some of the best land for grazing and growing in the world and therefore have some of the highest quality ingredients to work with.
It's not even a question to us really, we'll source as much as we can local every time because without it we're all worse off.
